JEREMY BLOOM JOINS COLLEGE FOOTBALL CENTRAL
AS ANALYST

VERSUS’ FIRST PAC-10 GAME OF THE SEASON TO FEATURE
OREGON STATE AT #9 ARIZONA ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9, AT 7 P.M. ET

NEW YORK, N.Y. (October 6, 2010)—VERSUS will air its first Pac-10 college football game of the season on Saturday, October 9, at 7 p.m. ET, when #9 Arizona Wildcats host the Oregon State Beavers in Tucson. In their conference opener on October 2, Oregon State pulled off a 31-28 win over Arizona State and Arizona is riding high after the team’s 10-9 victory over Cal on September 25, which earned them their best in-season ranking since the university was ranked #4 at the close of the 1998 season.

Jeremy Bloom will also make his debut as an analyst on VERSUS’ College Football Central studio show. Bloom was an All-American football player at the University of Colorado and played in the NFL for both the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. A unique athlete, Bloom is a also a three-time World Champion, two-time Olympian and eleven-time World Cup gold medalist snow skier. His on-air credits include ESPN, where he was a college football analyst, and on NBC during the network’s coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Ron Thulin will call the game action in Tucson and will be joined in the booth by analyst Glenn Parker. Lewis Johnson will report from the sidelines. College Football Central, which provides pre- and post-game coverage as well as halftime reports, will feature Kevin Frazier as host along with Roland Williams and Bloom as the in-studio analysts.
